Have you ever noticed how many people get motivated for a LITTLE while and then they STOP being Motivated?

Have YOU ever seen or experienced BOSSES that constantly attempt and try to keep workers motivated to do what they are being paid to do?

Ever wonder WHY motivation NEVER seem to last?
Ever wonder WHY none of us is ever 100% motivated ALL THE TIME?

We all have days and moments when we feel less motivated or not motivated at all to do anything.

Well, I was thinking one day and it occurred to me many years ago.

Motivation is not what keeps us going.
What we really need to keep us going long term, is to develop a HABIT, for whatever it is we MUST DO!

Habit is what I instill in the people I mentor; I am not with people all day long to keep them motivated but the HABITS I have instilled in them last a lifetime - Barry Dillah

When you develop a habit you will soon realize that you just seem to DO what you are in the habit of DOING without even having to consciously think. Motivation is needed to inspire change in the normal habits of an individual. Once the habit is instilled in the individual motivation is no longer needed to drive that habit.

Think about all of your habits.
You DO, because that's what you are in the habit of doing.
Habits keep us going in the direction and path formed.
Motivation is needed only when we need to change direction.
The only think that can replace a current habit, is to form a new habit.
Habits are the only things that replaces Habits!

If you want to accomplish anything. Know and Implement what habits are needed to accomplish that task and NOTHING will prevent you from achieving your goal.

Find a mentor to help you develop the habits you need so that you are successful in attaining your dreams!
